JOHN COTUGNO FOR VERO BEACH CITY COUNCIL
TC Palm, Vero Police Officer’s Association 6019, Indian River County Firefighters and Paramedics IAFF Local 2201
Vero Beach is my home. I was not born here but moving to this slice of paradise is one of the best decisions I have made. We have a beautiful coastline, lagoon, and our cultural opportunities are invaluable assets that we must preserve for generations to come.
WHY I'M RUNNING FOR CITY COUNCIL
Why I am Running for City Council:
Over the past few years Vero has faced too many contentious issues, but cooler heads always prevail. It is time for a common vision going forward for our great city. I take a rational approach to government to ensure the financial viability of our City without increasing tax liability. My abilities lie in listening to people and then knitting various opinions together to build consensus and provide solutions. This leads to a more efficient, transparent, and cost-effective government that enhances the quality of life of all citizens.
It is my privilege to run for City Council and continue to serve Vero Beach in the most impactful way possible. My proven leadership skills and passion for sound policy decisions give me a unique ability to help lead us into our 2nd Century. I am committed to serving our community and this is why I am a Volunteer Alzheimer's Association Ambassador on both the State and Federal level, serve on Governor DeSantis's State Health Improvement Plant (SHIP) Committee as well as serving on the City's 3 Corners Steering Committee and Utilities Commission. My diversified experience in the private and public sectors make me the most qualified candidate for the job. My only obligation will be to do what is best for Vero Beach; the residents of Vero Beach are my special interest group. Please vote for John Cotugno for City Council on Tuesday, November 3rd.
